– Named a 3-time All-American for the Purple Aces (1965-67)

– Took 11th place in the 1650 Freestyle in 1965

– Was honored with top 12 finished in four events in 1966 (5th – 800 Free Relay, 9th – 400 Free Relay, 11th in the 400 Medley Relay, 12th – 1650 Free)

– Third All-American season saw him take 9th in the 800 Free Relay and 12th in the 400 Free Relay
