– Coached 17 seasons for the Purple Aces men’s basketball program (1985-2002)

– Posted a 294-209 record at UE

– Led the Aces to six postseason tournaments (4 NCAA Tournaments and 2 NIT’s)

– 4-time conference coach of the year (1987, 89, 92 Midwestern Collegiate Conference, 1999 Missouri Valley Conference)

– Graduated 52 out of 53 players who spent all four years with him at UE; each senior in his final 12 seasons went on to graduate

– As a player under Bob Knight at Indiana University, helped the Hoosiers to a 108-12 record and a National Championship in 1976 (team went 32-0)
