Hall of Fame

– Inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 1988

– Played at Evansville from 1932-35

– Attended high school at Evansville Central and was a 2-year letterwinner

– In 1934-35, was the Aces’ leading scorer and team captain as the squad went 11-7

– Entered into coaching in 1947 at Central where he led his team to the state title game in 1948

– As a coach, he won 4 city championships, 3 conference titles, 5 sectionals and 5 regionals

– Coached his teams to a 132-43 mark over the course of seven seasons
