Kevin Kingston, a senior basketball player from Eldorado, Ill., played with teammate Mike Duff for a season in high school.  Kingston transferred to UE from John A. Logan Junior College in Illinois and earned a scholarship for the 1977-78 season.  As a senior at Eldorado, he averaged 15 points and 7 assists during his senior year.  In addition to his basketball career, Kingston also was the leading scorer on the football team.  His career goal after graduation was to become a teacher.
